Getting Ready

Well, Libby has her appointment for her surgery. It is October 6th. She has to be there at 8:45 in the morning for an upper GI. Then we go to the surgery clinic. I suppose that is to discuss the upper GI. I don't really know. Then the surgery is at 1:00. I don't know if the GI study is to rule out something else or if that looks a certain way, it will change what we do. I guess I will have to find that out on my own. You would think we had "RULED OUT" like everything that could be ruled out up 'til this point.
I really don't have anything exciting to talk about. I have tried to do everything I could this morning that would require me to go outside, because hurricane Ike is headed for us. Well, what's left of him. But if it is like Gustav -- it will rain here for DAYS.
Carter and I even went to the library this morning in preparation for the rainy weather. The man who checked our books out for us said "getting ready for Halloween?" I mean I don't know how he could tell. We only had six books for Carter that were Halloween related. Then we had one crafts book that was Halloween too. When Carter makes a trip to the library, he decides what he is going to get before we get there (dinosaurs, trucks, monsters). Then we find all the books we can about that. It is pretty comical, I'm sure, watching me crawl on the floor of the library looking for "the" book.
