HELP! We are in our semi-private room hell. We lost the roommate earlier today who had a mom who felt the need to shower at 4am. Well, yes, it can be worse. We got a new one at maybe 3pm. This baby apparently had a huge boil on her belly and she has not stopped crying since she got here. Her parents are constantly complaining about not being able to smoke. Which, by the way, why are we in a room with smokers? That is all we need is a boil and smoke! Anyway, mom has already untaped her arm from her arm board and has been yelling for oragel for two plus hours. Tomorrow is apparently a big day for us. We are actually on the schedule for a sweat chloride and a swallow study. If her swallow study is normal or not worse than before, we may actually be looking at coming home in the near future. Coming home on oxygen is a possibility, but coming home on tube feedings is not. Who knows? We will see.

that sounds rough. if it makes you feel any better, we visited another version of hell this weekend...chuckecheese...it was scary, there was a policeman at the front door..in fact that may be where that baby got the boil.
